The member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the national assembly, Hon Salman Idris has promised to donate a fully equipped ICT center to Anglican Secondary School Iyara in Ijumu Local Government area of Kogi state.
Speaking at the 29th edition of Iyara day, the lawmaker said educational development is one of the core objectives of his party, the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
He said the party paid WAEC fees for all the students in SS3 earlier this year and they are set to pay another WAEC fee as cheques have currently been prepared for the purpose.
Arc Salman used the opportunity to thank Ijumu people for voting massively for him to represent them. He promised to assiduously justify the mandate giving to him by the people.
Items to be donated for the standard ICT center included; 15 set of computers, 15 tables and chairs, a solar system with 16 batteries, a 3.5KVA generator, scanners, binders.
The rep member, who also doubles as the Chief Launcher, donated the sum of five hundred thousand naira to support the organisers of the program.
