Without ambiguity or fear of favor nor future contradiction, I say categorically that Hon Rabiu Mommoh Alfa is the best person to have represented Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly. He has by actions redefined legislation and overtime stood as a purveyor of egalitarianism in the area. Hence, his strides must be made known to encourage better legislation in future dispensation. He has overtime demonstrated the basic qualities which gives the electorates equal regard as the elected through his outstanding humility and all encompassing stewardship.
Going by the above premise, it was not a surprise development when the young, dynamic, ebullient and people oriented law maker called for a town hall meeting immediately he received his constituency allowance but it was an uncommon development for his going the far length as leaving the decision on what, how and where to utilize the money to his constituents. Well, all thanks to the patriotic attendants of the town hall meeting as the ratified projects which are currently ongoing are of great impact to the various benefiting community and the constituency at large.
For those who do not know-“as I shall not be a master, so I shall not be a slave and this explains my idea to politics”. In depiction, I do not belong to neither the hailing hailers nor wailing wailers and for the purpose of cynics, I will briefly outline some of the projects which were ratified and currently ongoing. To the best of my personal knowledge, they include but obviously not limited to; a borehole at Enjema ward one, closed market shops at Ofugo, classrooms renovation at Inye, Anyitata and Awo. Also among the projects are fencing of LGEA primary school Okaba, building of shops at Ojoku open market as well as special donation to some youths solely for entrepreneurship and their self reliance.

As earlier said and to disabuse any feeling of favoritism in the execution, this projects were keenly deliberated and agreed by those present at the said town hall meeting as Hon Rabiu only plays the role if facilitation and funding. Thus, judging by this events, “Hon Rabiu lives as of the people, by their choices and for their interests”. May I quickly note that legislation is ordinarily meant to speak for and represent the common interest of the people and by major assessment, Hon Rabiu is very much on track. It therefore behooves on the good people of Ankpa 2 constituency both at home and in diaspora to rally round him in prayers, support, ideas and way forward in the actualization of a great and prosperous Enjema/Ojoku.
It smacks great deceit recalling how some previous legislators were reelected so cheaply while one cannot point at any equal antecedents from them that could match the strides Ojoku/Enjema has experienced between 2015 and 2016. But, it is my hope that subsequent tenures will not be a repetition of the past but a consolation/complement of the present steward. I am therefore moved to challenge all Ojoku/Enjema sons and daughters whom are within the structures of public service to complement the good works of Hon Rabiu vis-a-vis people oriented programs that will positively impact on the socioeconomic well being of our people.
Finally, I want to believe that the good people of Ankpa 2 constituency understand and can see positive efforts should in case they do not know what good governance is. So that when next it is time for election and politicians come with their usual sugar coated promises of “change”, you will know the manner of change to accept. The APC’s promise of change is so far performing below expectations but Hon Rabiu Mommoh Alfa has been able to stand out like a golden fish which has no hidden habitat. May God continue to be his footage as days tick out of the mandate freely given to him by the constituents.
