To any political science students, the political class and those following the political trends of events will certainly know that the death of late Hon Buba Jirbil, the former deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives, has created a vacuum, a huge gap and an empty shoes that his type are very few and limited to fit in or fill in the gap.
This is not because of anything else but his natural abilities of coercing and building up good political structures and will to any government that is a part to it.
Buba knows the political triggers, he connects the connectables and absorbed the shocks for any government he agreed to work it. One of the pertinent wisdom in late Buba is his relationship with politicians in the state, he relate well with all people to the benefit of the constituency and the political party of his choice.
In Lokoja, we still mourn the dead of a political Jerichorian, in Nigeria is a giant who would have putting the wrongs right in the political scene of the country. He slept on never to wake up again to exhibit his tactical maneuvers skills come 2019, always so interesting to hear him talk, so humane and down to earth man when he engages you on one on one discussion.
Buba died when many in Lokoja-Koto are of the view that there is a whole lot of things to be done in reconciliating politicians who are aggrieved for one reason or the other.

“He comforts without the others knowing, he made stupendous gifts to youths without the knowledge of their parents. Buba is a serious midfield man in APC, a dangerous striker in the game of politics as far as Lokoja Koto is concerned.”
As we still mourn the dead of this great man (Buba) we have to fall back to reality that he has gone and gone for good, he has paid his dues, the price of being a successful politician, a servant who served well for the cause of humanity. But life must continue, government must go on, what matter most is who can wear the cap of late Buba Jibril, I am sure if we can get this right, the soul of Buba will be peaceful lying and happy that “a man is finally gotten to continue my good work”.
This absorbent nature of the political game has brought a wide porous drifting if the shoes of Buba is not properly replaced. So there has to be people with the likes of Buba, well scrutinize and adjudged by many that they can do what Buba was doing, or double the performance of late Buba in terms of political arithmetic of having an edge to opposition.
At this time, Gov Bello needs someone who is a political gladiator, someone who can mediate and reconcile people even at the grassroots who for one reason or the other are not in the same camp, someone that can woo politicians to their camp to form a well formidable team and success for February 16 and 2nd of March election .
It is at the amidst of all this I heard many are of the view that Muhammad Mabo Kassim can wear the cap, he can wear the shoes and properly replicate the political character of Buba Jirbil. In fact, Mabo Kassim is just another Buba Jibril.
To many, Mabo Kassim discovered a path that’s leading to greater destiny while at the bye election, Mabo turned a grass root political mobiliser when he was elected a executive chairman of Lokoja Local government. Reports indicates that through out his tenure Lokoja LGA witnessed a unique and massive development in all the 10 wards of the LGA with his people based principles of leadership.
He is known in Lokoja to be another material in galvanising, conscientious, mobilising, orientating people for political purposes and deradicalising even those who are perceived to be political pundits enemies of other politicians.
For this reason that Buba political camp campaign structure deem it fit to gave him the Campaign Director General at various points in time and successful led the campaign organizations of Buba to a winning pattern from season 1-3.
This man is no doubt a twin brother to Buba who shares the same political threads, see Lokoja in a glory of greatness in a future to come. I believe in the opinion of many in the town,that Mabo can do all things possible to place APC party in another broader light of success records in 2019 if given him the opportunity to mobilize support for the APC.
