Barely two months after inauguration, a member of Kogi State House of Assembly representing Ajaokuta Constituency, Hon Jibril Abu has embarked on a massive empowerment programme for his people.
The programme which was themed ‘T3 Initiatives’, was also organized to appreciate the support of Governor Yahaya Bello which he said was instrumental to his success at the polls.
Hon. Abu who reiterated his commitment to deliver real dividends of democracy to his people said he would never renege on any of his campaign promises.
The event, which had in attendance party stalwarts and eminent personalities, took place at Guest House, Ajaokuta township was also meant to renew the hope of Ajaokuta people for better representation.
The people-driven lawmaker, while thanking Ajaokutans for their massive support, vowed to always reciprocate their trust in him through facilitation of jobs, youth and women empowerment, community development projects and all forms that define good representation.
“This empowerment is just a little of the numerous dividends yet to come, my reign as a member of KSHA will be marked by human and capital developments,” he added.
Hon Jibril said his joy knows no bound for the love the people have shown him, setting an election track record for winning 13 wards out of the 14 wards in Ajaokuta LGA. He also appreciates His Excellency Gov. Bello for the opportunity given to him to serve his people. He extends his appreciation to Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem, whom he described as a mentor and his bedrock who has created for him a sailable path.
The people of Ajaokuta LGA have expressed exaltation, saying that they were not surprised by this remarkable impact as they trusted that Hon. Jibril Abu will build on the legacies of his late father, they however implied that they were only surprised by his promptness, not to talk of how tremendous is this empowerment at this early stage of his administration.
The good people of Ajaokuta were happy for having a good representative as Hon. Jibril. They further expressed gratitude that the wheel of leadership is steering towards the right direction as they have always fancied.
