In a world of uncertainties and where consistency seems to be a rare quality amongst our politicians, Hon. Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani (BEST) has distinguished himself amongst all. He has given a real meaning to what is meant when politics is described as a serious business for the serious minded.
In 2013, during the talks for merger between CPC, ACN and other political parties; only few people were lucky to be pioneers and funding members of the party at that point, most especially in kogi state, a state that can be described as PDP State due to the predominance of the party in the state.
The zeal, energy, commitment and resources needed at that time to rescue this country/State from the 16 years of PDP is unimagineable and a task that seems almost impossible to many. At this point, alignment and realignment kick-started across all the States in the federation. only few people were on ground to champion the revolution to rescue the country.
Honorable ‘BEST’ was among the lucky few and funding member of the party who canvassed for support and drive membership campaign of our great party (APC) in 2013-2014.
In 2015, as an active party man and a young mobilizer, he participated in the victory that saw the APC winning the Presidential, Governorship, Senate, Reps and also the State House of Assembly in the state and most especially Lokoja Local government area living no stone unturned.
In 2018, together with the help of the party chieftains Edward Onoja, Saidu Akawu Salihu, Alhaji Haruna Isah, Comrade Abdullahi Suleiman Ndalayi (Chairman Kogi Subeb), Adoga Ibrahim and the blessing of his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello who’s the leader of the party in the State, Honourable Bin-Ebaiya were part of the success stories of the 2018 Bye-election in Lokoja/Koto federal constituency.
Fast forward to 2019, because of his vast wealth of experience and grassroot support and mobilization strategies, Honourable BEST was assigned the position of the chairman “contacts and youth mobilization” of Comr Isah Umar (Lokoja1 House of Assembly APC candidate) campaign organization. 1st of January 2019, He called on all TeamBest volunteers across Lokoja/Koto federal constituency to converged at BAZIL palace in Lokoja, where he directed them to vote for all APC candidates across board. an assignment which due to his deligency, enables him delivered 100% of the task.
Today, the dominant population of his support base are the youths. As a youth, he did not only build relationship with his contemporaries but also acts as an active participant in whatever it is that will best serve the interest of every endeavours they engage in. He has over the years in whichever legitimate means lend his support to youths across the Lokoja/koto federal constituency.
BEST is for the youth. BEST is for progress. BEST is for development.
