The centre was commissioned in June 2008.
HELP Africa was founded by Dr Tracy Goen, with the aim of making and reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ through sustainable parnership in six domains,  namely social,  civil society, education, agriculture,  health and  business domains.
The ministry has accomplished so much in its major areas of operations within its 10 years of operation in Nigeria.
While the social domain is responsible for the care of for orphans,  vulnerable children and widows empowerment,  the civil society domain is responsible for outreach to the nomadic fulanis around Kwara, Kogi and Ekiti States.
The Education department utilizes the vast education opportunities, partnering schools and colleges for the schooling of orphans. HELP operated a school with modern facilities in Okoloke, Yagba West LGA and is planning a satellite school among Fulanis.
The agriculture domain targets disciples for Christ through initiating agriculture parnerships and initiatives that have sustainable impact locally in a variety of channels, while the health domain offers excellent and compassionate health care for the people. The ministry is currently working on an operating primary health care mobile clinic.
In more than two years, the Business department of HELP has trained and empowered more than 100 participants,  including widows who either own their own business or wish to enter into partnership to begin self-sustaining enterprises. They have benefitted in micro-capital financing for their start-up businesses and expansion. Participants cut across different religious and cultural settings.
HELP has sunk over 70 boreholes in Egbe and  environs including Fulani settlements and operates an orphanage providing private school education,  nutritious meals, clothing,  medicare and a stable and loving environment.
HELP inc. is managed by a board of directors in both USA and Nigeria who oversee the organization. Local Nigerian administrators and domain coordinators, along with other key staff, direct the day-to-day operations of the ministry.
The board of directors is made up of business professionals, and community leaders who ensure the organization meets it’s care values.
