The silent Kingdom of Kurudu in Nasarawa State was at standstill on Saturday as the Emir of Kurudu bestowed a chieftaincy title of ‘Zannan Kurudu’ on Barrister Isa Musa Iliyasu, the senior legislative aide to member representing Ankpa-Omala-Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Honourable Hassan Omale.
His elegant wife, Hajiya Maimuna Iliyasu was also turbaned alongside Barr. Isa as ‘Tauraruwan Kurudu’
Speaking shortly before the coronation, the Emir of Kurudu Kingdom described Barr. Isa as a worthy son of Kurudu.
“I am most delighted to honour Barrister Musa today because he has been a son of Nasarawa right from his primary school days. I have watched him grow and I am mincing no words in saying, he is a most worthy son of my kingdom,” he said.
The honouring of the Ajobe born prince was witnessed by Honourable Hassan Omale, the Attah Igala of Nasarawa, other royal chiefs of kurudu kingdom, friends and well wishers.
