The member representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal constituency, Hon. Haruna Isah has advised the people of Kakanda ward to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and all candidates of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming presidential and National Assembly elections.
Haruna, an indigene of Budon, gave the advised on Sunday at Budon, Lokoja local government during a campaign tour of the area in continuation of APC presidential, National and State Assembly elections.
He said that the APC had presented the best candidates in all the elective positions in Kogi West, Lokoja Federal constituency and at the federal level.
The lawmaker appealed to the electorate to vote wisely.
“We are here to present to you our flagbearers in person of Senator Smart Adeyemi for senate, Hon. Abdulkareem Isah for House of Representatives and Hon Idris Ndako who is seeking reelection into the state assembly. We must vote for quality representation and provision of dividends of democracy,” he said.
These candidates, according to him, are people of impeccable character. He noted that as member representing the good people of Lokoja/ Kogi Federal Constituency he had no reason to lie.
The reps member urged the people of Kakanda Ward to vote for Senator Smart Adeyemi as their Senator, President Buhari and all APC flagbearers as they represent the direction of the Kogi West in particular and Nigerian polity in general.
“Don’t be deceived, we have seen the direction of the Nigerian politics, and President Buhari represents that direction. I advise you all to vote him and our candidates in the forthcoming presidential, National and State Assembly elections.”
He further warned all electorate in the area not to sell their votes to anybody, adding that they should keep same and vote APC candidates in the coming elections.
Addressing APC Supporters, Senator Smart Adeyemi thanked them for their unalloyed support and urged to sustain the tempo.
The APC senatorial candidate urged them to vote for APC Sak assuring them of his determination and commitment to bring back the lost glory of Kogi West senatorial district.
He said Hon. Haruna Isah is the indisputable leader of the Kakanda in particular and Lokoja/ Kogi Federal Constituency.
Those who spoke at the rally include: Hon Abdulkareem Wambai, House of representative candidate, Administrator of Lokoja local government, Hon. Shiru Lawal, APC Chairman for Kakanda ward and a host of others.
