Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal Constituency of Kogi State has commiserated with the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Hawau Bello.
Hon Halims, in a statement made available on Sunday in Lokoja, described her death as “a personal loss.”
“With a deep sense of loss, I, Hon Halims, on behalf of the people Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal Constituency, shares this moment of loss with our leader, Governor of immeasurable esteem and a rallying point for many within and outside the State.
“Undoubtedly, her exit has created an irreplaceable vacuum in the family and her immediate environment.
“Nonetheless, our collective sense of fulfilment lies in the comfort of mama’s hard work, high moral standards, discipline as well as prayers for her children.
“The people of Ankpa Federal Constituency are particularly enthralled by the exploits of one of her sons, Yahaya, the Governor of Kogi State, whose shrewd intervention in our critical sector is now a reference point as evident in roads construction and rural electrification projects.
“While appreciating God’s benevolence and grace of age on Mama, our prayers are with the children and the entire family during this period of grief and personal loss of their beloved mother, ” Halims said.
