It must be noted that Kogi state can’t afford another clueless set of people at the spectrum of governance. Unless we want to cease from existence, whoever must represent us at this critical time must be rooted in a careful and well thought-out socioeconomic and political strategies to revive us politically. Save for the state allocations, the current external debt alone cannot be sustained.
Therefore, a sound master plan for diversifying the internally generated revenue (IGR) from the invaluable resources of the state will in no doubt redress the situation.
However, such is absolutely a no-win without leaders emerged independently, and with the right political will to deliver. It’s also not possible without a candidate whose political activities detest the infectious godfatherism or recycled politics.
This is where Engineer Abdulmalik Muhammed Adama, popularly called AMA, transpire as the most outstanding personality for these Brobdingnagian task.
He is determined, focus and endowed with the right charisma to deliver in no distant time.
To prove his determinations and commitment to a better Kogi state, Engineer AMA left his business and comfort offshore and relocated to the state where he spent four years touring the confluence city for a better knowledge of some indispensable needs of the people.
For over two years now, AMA has also embarked on a consultancy tour round the world. He has been consulting as well as making the necessary preparations on how best to utilize the available resources in Kogi state for a better out-turn. He has also built a brand in convincing his friends and co-investors around the world and they will be investing hugely in the economy of the state soon.
No doubt, Kogi state is naturally endowed with numerous resources that are economically viable. We are oil rich state with over four to five oil wells yet to be explored. We are America’s giant in terms of coal. We also have other resources such as limestone, tin, tar, gold, Iron ore, feldspar, Dolomite and Bauxite. The confluence zone can also serve as a world class tourist center like Kenya. The land itself is fertile enough for whatever kind of farming. In all its justice right to say that Kogi state has what it takes to be more viable economically than Lagos state.
A vote for Engineer Abdulmalik Muhammed Adama is a vote for freedom and total revival for Kogi state. Such political candidate with attitudes of ingenuity are rare in the current political circle.
He is a humanitarian Ambassador, Godly and a core advocate of due process.
In his individual capacity, AMA runs an orphanage home without a sacrificial donations from the elites. For the avoidance of doubts, over one thousand orphans from Ankpa and Imane alone are currently in the various institutions of learning. Findings also revealed that the proceed from his UK investment is directly channeled to this project.
AMA believes that the greatest legacy is by affecting lives positively. His living is basically for others. He does not care whoever is involved from his immediate family. As long as it has to do with putting smiles on human looks.
AMA can as well be described as a moral and political portraits of our late hero, Dr Stephen Omakoji Achema. Achema lived by championing the cause of the entire Igala race. And until his death, he has gone out of his way severally to please his fellow. His life and positions were practically a succor to human inexhaustible covet.
Unlike the politics of interest in our current dispensation, history has it that Dr Achema, was the only politician who worked against his own party just to ensure that an Igala man in another party wins the election. As a matter of reality, the political history of Igala race and Kogi state in general is not complete with him. What a Hero! May his soul continue to rest in the Lord.
Joyfully, amidst raging selfishness and personal conceits in our society, few individuals are resolute about continuing Achema’s good legacy. They are those I described as progressive minds with intention to see human beings live in abundance. Engineer Abdulmalik Muhammed Adama happens to be one of them. He is not seeking eight years to fix Kogi state. He is not desperate about power but committed to human liberation which is an efficacy of a judicious use of power.
He is academically viable, socially untainted and politically unflinching to restore Kogi state. He is determined to bear every brunts to ensure the right Kogi state on which the next generation shall happily embrace. He has reaffirmed with a true democratic context to see Kogi rise again.
But the question now is; are we ready to embrace this rare gem? Or we still want to live as slaves and oppressed in our own fatherland? Let us ponder and give the right answer in November.
We shall meet again,
– John Paul
