Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad has congratulates the Governor elect Alh. Yahaya Bello and the Deputy Governor elect, Chief Edward Onoja on their well deserved victory at the polls.
Reacting after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially declared the incumbent Gov. Yahaya Bello as the winner of Kogi State Governorship election, the Council boss noted that the victory was a referendum of the people of Kogi State on the wonderful achievements of the Governor and the need to consolidate on his developmental projects.
“It is a victory for democracy, a victory for a united Kogi State over and above primordial sentiments and a victory for the peace and progress of Nigeria.
“I want to specifically thank our dear people of Okene Local Government, from the beginning, you have displayed uncommon love for Gov. Yahaya Bello, you have shown your unflinching supports to the new direction administration and together we overwhelmingly gave him unprecedented votes that shows our total acceptance and encouragement for him to do more. Gov. Yahaya Bello is from Okene Local Government, and we couldn’t have love him less,” he said.
