The management and staff of Government Science Secondary School Koton Karfe has bade farewell to the 2017 Batch A corp members posted to the school.
The send forth ceremony which was held in the school premises attracted personalities from the host community.
The principal of the School, Mall Muhammed Usman Adamu appreciated the Corp members for their dedication and selfless service.
Mall Usman urge them to always be a good ambassadors of Nigeria wherever they are. The Principal expressed satisfaction with their services during the 12 month service in the institution.
Mall Adamu Usman, who is also the Chairman Corpers Employment Association Kogi Local government, appreciated Kogi state governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello for providing a serene environment State.
He said the governor has done much in nipping insecurity in the state in the bud and this has given the Corp members the confidence to serve in any part of the State.
He admonished the students to study hard, with increased dedication if they wish to be honored the way the Corpers were been honored.
Responding on behalf of the outgoing Corp members, Corper Attahiru Abdullahi Gulu appreciated the management and staff of school for their hospitality and corporation. He said if opportunity avail itself again, they will not hesitate to still serve in Kogi State and GSSS Koton Karfe.
The ceremony featured Merit award to the Principal Mall Muhammed Usman Adamu by the Corp members. Presentation of gift to the Corp members by the management of Government Science Secondary School Koton Karfe.
In his goodwill message, the Vice Principal Academics, Mall Yusuf Alhassan extol the good virtues of the corpers. He commended them for their dedication and selfless service while in GSSS Koton Karfe and wish them well in their future endeavors.
The corpers who were sent forth are: Attahiru Abdullahi Gulu from Niger State, Oyawuyi Blessing Kemi from Oyo State, Uche Nnena from Enugu State and Okoro Chika Chika from Enugu State.
