When growth begins to speak for itself, silence becomes a luxury many can’t afford.
It’s natural for light to attract both admiration and shadows. When a man evolves from seeking doors to being a door through which others find progress, resentment is inevitable. SEA will continue to grow and serve as a door for others to progress, he won’t remain stagnant to serve some power brokers. Nobody should feel disturbed by this growth
The synergy between SEA and His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, is not born of convenience but of competence. A Governor does not keep company with mediocrity, criminals or deaf and dumb minds, proximity to leadership is earned, not bestowed.
Integrity, intellect, value, pedigree and influence are currencies that buy relevance and Hon. Egidi holds them in abundance. Those who see his access as subservience mistake should be reminded of the importance of value
After all, only the capable are trusted to stand close to power when it comes to intellectual matters. Values and competence help you multitask and collaborate properly. This is why SEA has not failed in its oversight functions at the NASS, contributing intellectually, defending our territory and also bringing democratic dividends to us as constituents
SEA has since maintained an unapologetic focus, the criticisms from its detractors reveal their inability to adapt to the new political landscape SEA has forged. Their negative narratives often stem from jealousy and fear of his continued success, leaving them to describe him from a position of threat rather than admiration.
God bless our leader Rt Hon Sanni Abdulraheem
