A group of youths known as Bassa Solidarity Youth Forum (BSYF) has, on Friday, demanded the sack of the Administrator of Bassa local government area, Hon. Samuel Zakari Alumka, for alleged poor performance.

A statement by its coordinator, Muhammed Ibrahim and scribe, Peter Gwatana, described the almost three years of his tenure as a great calamity.

They alleged that the council chief was running the local government like a personal estate without recourse to other leaders in the council, due to his lack of political experience and poor managerial skill.

The group averred that the local government Administrator has been flouting the orders of Governor Yahaya Bello especially in the areas of job creation, security and youth employment, claiming that this was the cause of the perpetual youth restiveness and communal crisis in the council area.

“All he cherished is doling out tokens to youths. A visit to the local government secretariat at Oguma would confirm this abnormal situation.”

The group regretted that his attitude deprived the APC of its committed members who are now in opposing parties.
