Group Urges Karimi to Convene Kogi West Security Summit, Endorse Ododo, Abejide for Re-election

BEING THE TEXT OF THE LEGACY PRESS CONFERENCE ON 3RD TERM MOVEMENT FOR HONOURABLE ELDER LEKE ABEJIDE (ELA)

1.0 SECURITY
As we grief for Yagba, our land, a once vibrant and delivering hub of intellectuals, hard working and resourceful minds working for the good of its future and the nation, we are reassured that we shall GET OVER THIS Insecurities and BOUNCE BACK, amen.

1.2 SENATOR SUNDAY KARIMI
We here call on the Senator representing Kogi West, an Okun man from Yagba West, Senator Sunday Karimi to immediately convoke SECURITY SUMMIT in Kogi West,. particularly Yagba and Kabbabunu to address the very TERRIBLE SECURITY SITUATION which lip services have failed to ARREST and relate with the Governor of the State- H.E Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA to YAGBA LAND from the hands of these unfortunate not to do well miserable miscreants troubling the land.

1.2.1 ARMY FORWARD BASE IN EGBE
On the same note we call for a REVIEW OF THE ARMY FORWARD BASE in Egbe as it seems be fast becoming a be misplaced priority doing nothing to protect the lives of the people. That we say without fear or favour as Egbe seem the worst hit in recent times despite the presence of the so called Army Forward Base.

1.3 GOVERNOR ODODO, HIS TENURE AND SENATOR KARIMI
A kind advice for our Senator to refrain from actions and comments that can erroneously set the KOGI WEST on needless collision course with the state and be clear on his personal mission as we stand firm with His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA, which will ultimately bring Kogi West onboard for Governorship for the same period of Sixteen (16) Years. OPERATION BALANCE THE SCORE FOR ONE KOGI STATE

Over and above all, this is not the time to fight the state when we NEED ALL HANDS / COOPERATIONS and should UNANIMOUSLY BE FIGHTING INSECURITIES.

1.4 YAGBA FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES 2027
That;

1. As members of Leke Abejide 3rd Term Movement herein referred to and called with acronym LEKE, with breakdown as Legacy Enlightenment knitting Elites, we have unanimously agreed unrepentantly, unequivocally to work, support and vote for Leke Abejide for 3rd Term for the good of Yagba at the national level.
2. We are not against anyone willing to contest but appealing to them to see the need to have a very SENIOR RANKING person in the Federal House of Representatives, so that he can be among the likely PRINCIPAL OFFICERS or at least the main caucus, which will enable him or make it easier to attract NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO YAGBA, by making the kitchen cabinet in the FHoR.
3. We are urging those who will still go ahead to contest with our candidate to go about their Campaigns without any insults on one another and to remember that peace is not negotiateable.
4. We urge all aspirants contesting to completely disallow any form of abuse, hooliganism or violence on or to anyone as a first law
5. Elder Leke Abejide has shown that, given a better pedestal as advantage in the Federal House of Representatives, he will do more for Yagba.
6. We are charging him to go attract citing Federal Institutions, organizations to Yagba Land or improvement in totality at the BIOTECH office in Isanlu, along Iddo the headquarters of Yagba Federal Constituency.
7. We are further challenging him for federal appointments, employments and better placement for Yagba sons and daughters, as well as contracts for contractors.
8. We remain committed to working with him with our resources and we are set to do more on this DELIBERATE MISSION to engage more minds on the need for this breakthrough for Yagba, which includes researches, many of which is right now exposing, resolving and yielding results thus far comparing from findings from the first tenure and the ongoing tenure, which is evident in our database thus far.
9. There is a need to overhaul his disbursement team and strategies to ensure that the dividend of democracy from him or through him reaches the people and not just a few who diverts or pocket what is meant for others, same for those who misplaced items to their concubines and assumed immediate family at the expense of the masses that toiled and worked with him to emerge, some as far back as his first tenure
10. We reiterate that Yagba is blessed and will always have children that can represent us any day anytime anywhere, hence no stampeding on the slogan IT’S OUR TURN but ONE AT A TIME WITH DELIVERABLES making our opportunities better.
11. He should for now absolutely CONCENTRATE on resolving the INSECURITY in the land.
12. We appreciate his working synergy with His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA, the Executive Governor of Kogi state and the LGA Chairmen to tackle the present troubles in the land and as we fervently pray for quick resolution of the matter.
