Worried by the under development in Kogi State, a group, Kogi New Agenda, KNA, has appealed to people of the state to unite together for positive change.
The National Coordinator of KNA, Mr. Folorunsho Olushola, who made this appeal while addressing Journalists in Lokoja yesterday, stated that the has come for the people to experience good governance if right candidate is voted to power in the state during the forthcoming governorship election in the state
The group has identified poor governance, marginalisation, under development and poverty as bane of the bane of progress, urging the people to free the Kogi State from the shackles of political impunity, poverty, under development, insecurity, corruption, greed and one-sidedness that have ravaged stated in the last 24 years.
Olushola explained that the group is borne of necessity to add their voice and convince the old and young that the time to make a change has come, adding that the time for the state to take rightful place in the scheme of things has arrived
“To reach out to our brothers and sister who are party executive members and delegates to the primaries of our great party, All Progressive Congress (APC) to vote massively for Change”,he stressed.
The group is therefore soliciting support for candidacy of young and vibrant aspirant Yahaya Bello on the platform of APC.
The Coordinator maintained that Alhaji Yahaya Bello is the answer to the plethora problems confronting Kogi State now.
