The Kogi Central Media Practitioners Association (KOCEMPA) has congratulated Mrs. Avoyi Barikisu Nwogu over her appointment as Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello on Electronic Media.
In a statement by the Secretary, Ibrahim Obansa, the group commended the Governor for appointing a thoroughbred Journalist into such position.
KOCEMPA noted with satisfaction the untiring effort of the state government in critical areas such as security, health, education, ethnic and religious harmony as well as agriculture, youth and women empowerment and the provision of critical infrastructure.
Mrs Nwogu, until her appointment, was the Kogi State correspondent of the African Independent Television (AIT).
