As part of activities to celebrate the birthday of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chairman of Ododo Season 2 Grassroot Network, Hon. Hilary Egwudah Ojomah, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, led members of the network on a humanitarian visit to Hajiya Hauwau Bello Medical Centre, Upogoro.

During the visit, the group reached out to newly delivered mothers, pregnant women, and some health workers on duty, providing support and encouragement in commemoration of the Governor’s birthday.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the chairman stated that the outreach was their modest way of celebrating the Governor and appreciating his consistent commitment to humanity and people-oriented governance, both before assuming office and since his emergence as the Chief Servant of Kogi State.

The beneficiaries, in their responses, offered prayers for His Excellency and members of the network, expressing gratitude for the kind gesture and assuring the Governor of their total support for his administration.

The group also commended the Head Doctor, Dr Zainab and medical personnel of the facility for their dedication and excellent service delivery, describing their efforts as commendable and worthy of recognition.

Recall that the Hajiya Hauwau Bello Medical Centre was constructed by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, during his tenure as Auditor-General for Local Governments, and named in honour of Hajiya Hauwau Bello, the mother of former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

As the Governor’s birthday comes up on January 1, the Ododo Season 2 Grassroot Network described the celebration as one of life, progress, and service, noting that the Governor’s trademark remains touching lives and prioritising the welfare of the people.

The group reaffirmed its commitment to identifying with the Governor’s vision and celebrating him in meaningful and people-centred ways that reflect his passion for inclusive development.
