Graduating Police Officer Presents Group Appreciation to Senator Aidoko

Public officers and political office holders has been advised to demonstrate selfless service by creating an enabling environment and meaningful engagement for the young ones with a very bright ambition, to serve their community and by extension their fatherland.

Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali dropped this advise during the presentation of an award plaque of appreciation by ASP Mohammed Abubakar.

ASP Abubakar was enrolled in the Police Academy and graduated through the recommendation of Kogi East senator in 2015.

Senator Aidoko who expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the young officer said he had since forgotten that he made recommendation for such a young and promising lad to the revered Nigeria Police force.

The lawmaker said this gesture was one out of many extended to the people of the area to ensure gainful employment of the young and up coming ones without reservation and discrimination.

He said even though a prophet does not have prestige in his abode, the award will be an encouragement for him to do more to the people, as his desire to do more lies with posterity.

Senator Aidoko said he has dedicated the historic award plaque to humanity so as to encourage well to do individuals to invest in human development in the society.

Earlier, the young officer, ASP Mohammed Abubakar said his prospects and success in life is tied to the selfless gesture of Kogi East senator, who had demonstrated humane tendencies that other prominent people will reserve for only members of their family.

He urged other privileged members of the society, to emulate the kind hearted gesture of the Senator Aidoko carried out without any attachment along with sponsorship.

He commended the senator for his good conduct and prayed to God to continue to guide him in his future endeavours.

It will be recalled that last year, Senator Aidoko also assisted in the enrollment of three young Igala officers into the Nigerian Navy to pursue their professional ambitions.
