Kogi State Commissioner for Works and Housing Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere, has described Governor Yahaya Bello as a gift to Nigeria.
Ohere made this known during a chat with newsmen in Lokoja on Saturday.
The Commissioner congratulated Governor Bello for emerging Sun Newspaper ‘Best Governor of the Year’.
While describing Governor Bello as “Mr. Project”, Ohere said “Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is the number one gift among the State Governors to Nigeria as a country.”
“On behalf of the management and staff of the Ministry, I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on the historic award as the best Governor of the year.
“Your commitment to infrastructural development in the state has earned you this outstanding reward Sir. The Ministry will continue to live up to expectations in terms of quality job supervision and delivery.
“Our verdict on Governor Yahaya Bello as a true leader who walks his talk with empathy for his people and love for his nation is justified by The Sun Newspaper, hence the reason for this outstanding award,” he said.
Ohere stated he desires that the Governor is given the chance to replicate the good work he is doing in Kogi state at the national level.
