The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo through words, actions and superlative performances has indeed endeared himself not only to Kogites but the entire country with the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR adopting him as one of his political sons and favourites.
This love and admiration towards Governor Ododo is not by accident as this Governor through his words and actions is delivering the seeded but elusive dividends of democracy to Kogites in a manner never envisaged by even his greatest critics!
Today in Kogi State, we can see practical demonstrations of leadership by Governor Ododo by paying salaries and allowances as at when due to the civil servants and political appointees as a whole from the State down to the Local Government Areas and even Ward headquarters.
This is all thanks to his ingenuity in having appointees down to the grassroots level where the Local Government and Ward Special Assistants ignites the local economy by the payments of salaries and allowances which is a form of empowerment to our local economy.
In the area of infrastructural developments, every Local Government in Kogi State is having one developmental Projects or the other.
He’s indeed a talk and do Governor; little wonders he’s attracting political bigwigs and elderstatesmen in the category of H/E Captain Idris Ichala Wada, Sam Abenemi, Speaker Alfa Imam, Hon. Samuel Aro, T. J. Faniyi and a posts of other political heavyweights in Kogi State. Truth is, if isn’t doing well, this people wouldn’t defect to the ruling APC government in Kogi State.
It’s our fervent prayers abd wishes for him that God Almighty gives more wisdom and the hearts of gold to continue to put smiles on the faces of Kogites by delivering dividends of democracy to all nooks and cranies of Kogi State.
