Gov Ododo Will Support Local Media Owners – Isah

Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, has assured that the current administration in the state will forge a robust partnership with local media practitioners.

Isah stated this during an interactive session with members of the Federated Chapel in Lokoja on Wednesday.

He stressed the need for Federated Chapel members to close ranks and work hard to support the policies of the government under Governor Usman Ododo.

According to him, the chapel plays an important role in propagating the good image of the present administration.

He maintained that Governor Ododo is committed in prioritizing the local media, stressing that they are in the frontlines in crisis management.

Isah lauded the uniqueness of the Federated Chapel, adding that their influence will sharpen the opinion of the people.

He argued that the platform should be used as the most vital feedback mechanism, noting that the Governor Usman Ododo led administration means well for the people of Kogi state.

“He is very forthright, honest and pro-people. Governor Ododo is eager to work for the people.

“This is the first Governor in the history of Kogi State who within one week left the country for an investment drive. The first 100 days of the present administration will showcase project commissioning, initiation of projects to develop Kogi State. The Governor, in the next one or two weeks, will distribute palliatives to cushion effect of the economic challenges in the country,” he stated.

He appealed to the people of Kogi State not to panic, stressing that very soon the people of Kogi state will have genuine reasons to smile.

He promised to present the challenges of the federated Chapel to Governor Ododo for it to be addressed immediately.
