Governor Usman Ododo, on Monday, joined other colleagues at the Northern State Governors’ Forum in Kaduna to address the the pressing reginal challenges.
The Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, who attended the meeting on behalf of the Governor, was accompanied by Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Secretary to the Government of Kogi State.
The meeting discussed practical approaches to address pressing regional issues, including insecurity, out-of-school children, poverty, and socio-economic challenges.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, Chairman of the Forum, led the meeting, hosted by Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State.
Other attendees include governors from Nasarawa, Zamfara, Adamawa, Kwara, Borno, and Bauchi states, as well as Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa.
Prominent traditional rulers are also present, such as the Sultan of Sokoto, Shehu of Borno, Emir of Zazzau, and Ohinoyi of Ebira land.
Through collaborative efforts, the Northern Governors Forum said is is poised to drive transformative change and improve the lives of citizens.
