Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has applauded the military for their bravery and sustained operation to restore peace and stability in communities across Kogi state.
During an official visit to the Chari Maigumeri Barracks, the headquarters of the 12 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, in Lokoja on Tuesday, Governor Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to deepening collaboration with security agencies to tackle insecurity and safeguard lives and property across the state.
During the visit, military authorities presented victims rescued in a recent security operation carried out across parts of the state.
The brigade also showcased recovered ammunition and other items seized from suspected criminal elements during the operation.
The 12 Brigade Nigerian Army assured residents of sustained operations aimed at dismantling criminal networks and maintaining a strong security presence in vulnerable areas.
