Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has approved the appointment of Dr. Avidemi Sanusi Salifu as the new Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, the selection followed due process and was based on Professor Avidime’s academic credentials, administrative experience, and commitment to educational development.
Dr. Salihu Sanusi Avidime is an experienced Nigerian scholar in Political Science, holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from Usmanu Dan Fodio University; a Master in Public Policy and Administration from Bayero University Kano; an MSc in Public Finance from the University of Calabar; and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba.
The Governor congratulated the New Polytechnic Rector on his appointment and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him.
