Following his emergence, yesterday as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the November 16th guber poll in the state, the member representing Ogori-Magongo constituency at the State Assembly, Hon. Moses Akande has described the landslide victory of Governor Yahaya Bello as a demonstration of the love and affection he enjoys from the members of the party in the state.
The lawmaker hinted that the victory is well deserved, saying it is a reward for his inclusive, visionary and development- driven leadership style, which he stressed has warmed him to the hearts of the people of the state.
Hon. Akande who disclosed while reacting to the outcome of the governorship primary, where Governor Bello trounced other aspirants, scoring 3,091 votes leaving them to scramble for the remaining 163 votes, said, Governor Bello is a man destined for greatness.
The victory, according to the legislator who also chairs the Information and Publicity Committee of the Assembly, is an elixir of the overwhelming victory of the party at the November 16th poll.
While appreciating the delegates for making the right choice and other members of the party for their love and support for the Governor and his administration, he assured that Governor Bello is committed to the peace, unity and progress of the state.
According to him, APC as the party is firmly rooted in the state and attributed the giant strides achieved by the party to the courageous and purpose-driven governance of Governor Bello in the last three years.
As the party anticipates glorious outing in the November poll, the lawmaker urged members of the party not to rest in their oars, appealing that they go all out and mobilize support for the party.
