The presentation of staff of office to the new Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, Obaro Otitoleke Oweyomade 1 of Oweland holds next Saturday.
Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello will perform the presentation to the monarch as the 44th Obaro of Kabba at the St. Augustine’s College field by 10 am.
President-General of Kabba Development Union (KDU) and Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Engineer Emmanuel Ajibero assured that all arrangements are in place to ensure a hitch-free ceremony.
Owoniyi succeeds Oba Michael Olobayo, who passed on in May 2016, after three decades on the throne.
