The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Sports, Youth Empowerment and Student Affairs, Comrade MD Eseyin has called on Kogi youths to use their skills and experiences judiciously.
Eseyin made the call in his congratulatory speech to graduands of Industrial Training Fund (ITF). He represented Governor Yahaya Bello as the event.
He urged the graduands to affect others positively with the skills acquired at ITF.
“Today, history will be bold enough to hold another record firm as great minds will be successfully graduating from this programme having being equipped as independent individuals capable of contributing their quota to the smooth sailing and progress of Kogi State and Nigeria.
“The Government can never be buoyant enough to spoon feed everybody under its watch, but will always be ready to help facilitate the achievement of goals for individuals who wishes to be useful to him or herself and to the government. This therefore forms the need why His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello will always leave the doors of his government open to uncompromisingly support any issue that has to do with job creation and youth engagement.
“We are happy that you all have patiently sojourned through this path of rigorous training which we believe will henceforth serve as a source of better living for you all. Whatsoever a man sows he shall reap and you all have sown hard work and you all must therefore be fully set to enjoy the handiwork of your labour.
“In the exact words of His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello, he said and I quote; “youths of Kogi State are making me proud”.
“I want to enjoin you all to put into judicious use the skills and knowledge that have been impacted into you all. Learn not to be hoarders of skills and knowledge because you can only be valued to the society when people gets to tap from your oceans of skills experiences,” he said.
He urged them to be good ambassadors of Kogi State and Nigeria.
