When the baton of power was passed in Kogi State, the one time ruling party (PDP) almost hanged themselves due to the loss. Everyone buried their heads in shame. All the APC party members, walk the streets like Kings. There where songs of jubilation everywhere. Yahaya Bello emerged their governor and all hope was high, for him to lead them to their promise land and delivered to them their own portion of change, which was promised by his mentor (President Buhari).
But it turned out, that Yahaya Bello became the biggest joke in Kogi State. He became a scam to his people. God blessed him with Scarface loyalists who are ready to suck him dry, and make his administration even a bigger joke. I have nothing against those crawling behind him, to lick his boots. Because one way or the other, they are fulfilling the opposition mandate and they are ignorant of it. They are ruining their own chances thinking that, they are oppressing the poor people of the state. They keep on getting paid awards, for been a total joke in the history of governance as the state is concerned.
My governor with the shortest Wikipedia page. I guess your awards cannot be uploaded onto your profile on Wikipedia, because of lack of proofs and evidence to back up all your claims. You can fool the people of Kogi State and get few of them to lick your boots, but you can’t fool the rest of the world. Someone should please advise him to stop paying for awards, he can’t fool the timid masses with all his lame strategies.
I was at the Nathaco Junction few days ago, on my way coming from the North-West. I saw a banner at the junction, with the photo of my dear governor, holding one of the awards he paid for. I felt so ashamed of myself been ruled by a hypocrite. Other state governors are erecting billboards and pasting posters of numerous projects commissioned by their administration. Some are building roads, hospitals, schools, poverty alleviation programs (not sharing poisonous rice), scholarship schemes for the less privilege, and many more. What has my able governor done?
Before publishing my last article, I was in an interview section with one of the elder state men of the state and I disagreed with what he said, concerning the governor been lead astray by his chain of advisers. The governor is not a baby (apart form been a Political Baby) and can’t be lead astray. His making all these decisions by himself and nobody should be blamed for his actions, but himself. The truth is, everyone working with him presently are all sourcing for their daily bread. If most of the people criticizing them should be given the opportunity to serve under Bello, am certain they won’t think twice.
Governor Bellow (my computer keeps typing Bellow instead of Bello) or Bello, will pay severely when the time is ripe, for all his political atrocities and rough handling of the good people of Kogi State. I indulge you to keep dancing to the tone of your opposition. Please keep on been a political puppet and gradually paving way for the true democrats come 2019.
Come 2019, PDP will win the elections and it will be like taking a candy from the baby. Thank you Yahaya Bellow, for spoiling the APC agenda in Kogi State.
