Gov. Bello Has Made Health Sector Top Priority – Hon. Halima

The Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State governor on Tertiary Institutions, Hon. Halima Abuh has described Gov. Yahaya Bello’s led government as a health-friendly one.
Halima made this known in Bagana while on a monitoring tour of the ongoing distribution of basic medical equipments and essential drugs to Omala local government area.
She commended the governor for giving the health and other sectors a top priority since the inception of his administration.
“Health they say is wealth. So far so good, our listening governor has accorded high premium to the health needs of the people. Omala local government has taken delivery of the essential drugs and other health materials. It will also please you to know that other sectors are receiving a boost. The New Direction government is delivering the envisaged dividends to the people and we remain ever grateful to Gov. Yahaya Bello for his people-oriented programmes”, Hon. Halima stressed.
It could be recalled that the Kogi state government recently flagged off the Maternal Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Week where essential drugs and medical equipments are being distributed to the 236 PHCs across the state.
