Governor Yahaya Bello has announced a full scholarship for all the children of the deceased GYB Connect Coordinator of Mopamuro local government area of Kogi state, late Edward Olu Sunday.
Governor Bello this known in Mopa on Saturday during the burial of late Edward Olu.
Represented by the Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, Hon Kingsley Femi Fanwo, the governor also announced a cash donation of One Million Naira for the immediate upkeep of the deceased’s family.
The Commissioner described Mr Edward as a loyal party man and a core GYBist whose contributions to the party can not be overemphasized.
With the Honourable Commissioner at the burial ceremony were: Hon Ademola Bello Destiny, Member Representing Mopamuro State Constituency; Hon Moses Sunday David, Chairman Mopamuro LGA; Hon Mrs Bukola Obajemu, Vice Chairman; Hon Seth Abayomi, SSA Youth and Women; Pharmacist Alexander Onoja the GYB Connect State Coordinator; Hon Charles Omoyele, APC Chairman and all elected and appointed officials from Mopamuro.
Mr Edward Olu Sunday who died after a brief illness was interred in his home town, Mopa on Saturday after a brief ceremony.
