The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has described as heartless, the recent gruesome murder of Alhaji Yusuf Onivehu Adabenege in Okene vowing that the perpetrators would be fished out to face the consequence of their act.

He sympathized with the family of the deceased while assuring them that the State Government will ensure that the criminals would not go unpunished.

In a statement issued by the Director-General, Kogi State Bureau of Information Services and Grassroots Sensitisation, Mr. Abdulkarim Abdulmalik the Governor expressed dismay over the penchant for criminality in Ebiraland in spite of Government’s zero-tolerance for criminal activities.

He described the late Yusuf as an unassuming active member of the current administration who had, in no small measure, invested his talent and skills to add value to the good of the society and governance.

The Governor called on well meaning members of the society in the fight for a crime-free society.
