Kogi State Government has approved the appointment of Professor Salawu Sadiku as the pioneer Vice Chancellor of the new Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara.
This was made known in stated issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Folashade Ayoade on Friday.
She stated that the Governor also granted approval for the appointment of other principal officers of the university.
Principal officers appointed are: Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku, Vice Chancellor;
Ms. Hudson Olufunke Eyiwumi, Registrar and Mr. Alaji John, Bursar.
Others are: Mr. Salifu Jeremiah, Librarian; Arch. Usman Muhammed Ahmed, Director of Works and Physical Planning and Pharm. Muhammed Asuku Audu, Director of Academic Planning.
The statement said that the appointments takes effect from 17 December, 2020.
