Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of Onogwu Mohammed Galacticus as the new Chief Press Secretary of the State.
The Secretary to the Kogi State government, Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.
The appointment followed the resignation of Petra Akinti Onyegbule on Monday.
Ayoade said the appointment takes immediate effect.
Onogwu, a graduate of the University of Jos, was before his new appointment, the the director of media for APC Campaign Council for Kogi East.
