Glitz and Glamour at Aiyelabowo’s Coronation as Yeye-Oge of Okunland

It was glitz and glamour when the Okun traditional council on Wednesday, 28th December, 2016 crowned Mrs Aiyelabowo Omoleye Adebanji as Yeye-Oge of Okun land.

The Okun area traditional council led by the acting chairman, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ikusemoro, also unveiled the ‘Aso Ibile Okun’, a unique traditional attire to promote unity in Okun land.

Members of Kogi State House of Assembly and Chief Administrators of the five local government areas that made up Okun land added colour to the event.

Chairman and other executives of Okun Development Association, ODA, presented an Okun Flag with the newly unveiled Aso Ibile Okun.

 

The adopted Okun attire is a creative effort of Mrs Aiyelabowo , the Chief Executive Officer of Labacash Productions. The new Okun attire comes in four colours which represents the blending of the different old Okun attires. The four colours are blue, white, green and brown.
