Born in 2001 in Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria, Ilebaye Precious Odiniya, also known by her stage name Ilebaye, hails from the Igala tribe and comes from a Christian family. Despite her Ghanaian-sounding accent, her roots trace back to the Igala tribe of Nigeria, specifically Okpo in the Olamaboro Local Government Area.
Ilebaye’s father was a physical health education (PHE) teacher at Government Secondary School Alloma Ofu Kogi State, Nigeria. Her educational journey included attending a private secondary school followed by the prestigious Federal Government Girls’ College, Kabba.
Even at a young age, Ilebaye displayed her acting talent by starring in renowned productions like “Papa Ajasco,” “Super Story,” and “Nnenna and Friends” during her early years in JSS1.
After completing her SSCE, she pursued a degree in Criminology and Security Studies at Salem University, which laid the foundation for her entry into the Nigerian entertainment industry. Throughout her journey, she kept her acting dream alive, acknowledging the importance of obtaining a degree before fully diving into her passion.
Upon entering the BBNaija Season 7 “Level Up” house, Ilebaye’s dynamic personality and acting background set her apart from fellow contestants. Her presence injected new life and excitement into the show, making her a beloved figure among viewers.
Her remarkable talent and charismatic demeanor led her beyond Season 7. She earned a coveted spot in the highly anticipated All Star Season 8, captivating fans once again and solidifying her status as a star.
