General Abisoye’s Demise: A Huge Loss, says Ogembe

The Senator representing Kogi Central senatorial districts, Ahmed Ogembe has described the death of General Emmanuel Abisoye as a big loss to the people of Ogori/Magongo, Kogi state and Nigeria as a whole.
This is contained in a statement signed by the senator in Abuja on Friday.
The statement quoted Ogembe to have noted that, though the late General lived a fulfilled life, but the vacuum created by his loss at a time his knowledge and counsel is needed to solve security problems across the county is unfortunate.
He described the Octogenarian’s demise that died at the age of 81 as a selfless man, who after giving his best in the military had continued to work for the peace of the country.
The senator however recalled that “this is why he (Abisoye) was drafted to head  panel of inquiry set up to resolve the conflict involving Hausa/Fulani indigenes of Plateau State in 2009 and he did a great job and also displayed his peaceful nature severally”.
“His demise is a huge loss, but we must find solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life and made us; the people of Kogi central, Kogi state and Nigeria as a whole proud, “he said
Ogembe prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed and God’s blessings for the families and people of Kogi state over the demise of the late Army General, who he said had served the country in several capacity.
