A frontline socio-political group, Ebira Youth for Development, popularly known as Ebira Must Be Better, has thrown its full weight behind the senatorial ambition of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, describing him as the most qualified and strategically positioned candidate to represent Kogi Central at the National Assembly.

In a statement by the Secretary, Ebira Youth for Development, Comrade Abdullahi Hakeem, the group declared that Bello’s track record as a former Governor of Kogi State stands as clear evidence of his capacity to deliver impactful leadership at a higher legislative level.

According to the youth body, Bello’s administration recorded significant strides in infrastructure development, youth empowerment, security stabilization, education reforms, and civil service restructuring across the state. They argued that his experience in governance and established connections at the federal level would give Kogi Central stronger visibility and influence in national decision-making.

“Yahaya Bello has done it before; he will do it again,” the group stated, emphasizing that his leadership brought renewed political relevance to Kogi Central and improved development indices across the state.

The group further urged the people of Kogi Central to unite behind Bello’s candidacy, insisting that his presence in the Senate would translate into robust constituency projects, greater federal appointments for the district, and enhanced socio-economic opportunities for the Ebira people.

They maintained that at a time when effective representation and political leverage are critical, Bello’s experience, network, and bold leadership style make him the best option to champion the district’s interests at the National Assembly.

As political momentum builds ahead of the senatorial contest, the endorsement signals growing grassroots mobilization in favor of Bello, with supporters framing his candidacy as a continuation of the “Ebira Must Be Better” development agenda.
