The Kogi East Forum of Senior Special Assistants commiserates with His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State, on the passing of his beloved father, who transited to glory at the age of 83 years.
The late patriarch was an accomplished and exemplary father who lived a fulfilled life of faith, humility, and guidance. His legacy is evident in the noble blessing he gave to the state and nation through his son, who today serves as the Governor of Kogi State.
We acknowledge that his demise is not only a personal loss to His Excellency and his family, but also to the entire people of Kogi State, who benefited from his wisdom, prayers, and fatherly counsel.
The Forum prays that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, grants his soul Aljannah Firdaus and gives His Excellency and the Ododo family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
While mourning his departure, we celebrate a life well spent in service to God, family, and humanity.
