Former Minister of Women Affairs, Barrister Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, has declared her full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ohanenye, speaking through her spokesperson Musa Abdulrahaman on Friday, described her support as unwavering and deeply rooted in belief in the president’s leadership.

She announced plans to re-launch the “Naija Save Naija 2027” campaign, which aims to mobilize 10 million Nigerians across the country to back Tinubu’s second-term bid.

According to her, the group played a key role in securing support for Tinubu in the 2023 election, particularly among vulnerable groups and persons with disabilities.

She said the revived campaign will go even further, targeting every sector of society.

She praised Tinubu’s performance so far in office, citing economic reforms, social welfare interventions, and efforts to tackle insecurity as signs of focused leadership.

Ohanenye said Tinubu inherited significant national challenges but has responded with courage, vision, and determination to move the country forward.

The former minister stressed that the 10 million supporter target is not symbolic, but a reflection of strong grassroots confidence in Tinubu’s leadership.

She said the campaign will engage women, youth, traders, farmers, professionals, and the most vulnerable, to spread the message of continuity and progress.

Calling on all Nigerians to join the movement, Ohanenye said the country’s future rests on maintaining the momentum of good governance.

She described Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a working plan already yielding results and called for unified support to sustain its impact.

Details of the campaign re-launch are expected to be released in the coming weeks.

Ohanenye pledged to devote herself fully to the cause, describing her commitment as a national duty driven by faith in Tinubu’s vision.
