Rt. Hon. Umar Ahmed Imam, former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and Member Representing Lokoja I State Constituency have been appointed by the GYB Next Level Ambassadors as one of its Trustees who are expected to guide the Movement towards achieving its goal of returning His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello (GYB) to continue as Kogi State Governor come November, 2019.
At the brief event held at his GRA home, the Acting Secretary of the Movement, Comrade Abdulkadir Avidime appreciated his continued support and unflinching loyalty to the New Direction administration while maintaining his integrity, honesty and confidence of the people he represents as well as the entire citizenry of the State.
While appreciating the confidence reposed in him and kind words of appreciation for his support for good governance in the State, Rt. Hon. Imam assured them of his total support in executing the November, 2019 Project as far as working for the success of the All Progressives Congress and indeed, Governor Yahaya Bello, is concerned.
The Acting Chairman, Abdulkarim Adamu, who led the executives had earlier intimated Rt. Hon. Imam of the mission and vision of the GYB Next Level Ambassadors which includes, among others, reaching out to the people at the grassroot to mobilize support for the re-election of the performing Governor, who in spite of the challenges he inherited, have been able to perform beyond expectation.
The GYB Next Level Ambassadors is a Movement of Kogi State citizens in the 21 LGAs who are PVC holders cutting across Different political parties and religious beliefs who believe in the New Direction administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.
