Through divine providence, Capt Idris Ichalla Wada rose from being a commercial pilot to becoming the Governor of Kogi State (2011 – 2015) under the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP). His time in office as Governor of the state was characterized with relative peace; a major requirement for sustainable growth and development.

Stemming from his immerse wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors, the decamping of Capt. Idris Ichalla Wada from the PDP to the APC is expected to strengthen the already existing leadership structure of the APC in the state.

Arrangements are on top gear in achieving a successful and hitch free decamping ceremony for the Former Governor and other notable leaders and members from opposition parties in Kogi State.
