Former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has expressed sadness over the death of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) zonal chairman, Barr. Taiwo Kola-Ojo.
In a statement personally signed by the former governor, Idris commiserated with the PDP family in the state as well as the family of the deceased party stalwart.
The former governor saluted the courage and contributions of the late Zonal Chairman in the last few years which he said had stabilised the support base of the party in the area.
“The likes of Barrister Kola-Ojo and other party loyalists had contributed in no small measure to the sustenance of grassroot support for PDP,” he said.
He prayed for the family and urged them to take solace in the fact that the late politician of high repute lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.
