Former Classmates Laud Kogi Auditor-General for LG for Inspiring Selflessness

Kogi Auditor-General for Local Government, Honourable Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege, popularly known as Fancy, was on Friday celebrated for selfless service by his old-time secondary school mates who graduated from Okoro-Gbedde High School (OGHS), Okoro.

The programme, organized by the Forum of Kogi West Comrades, was a reunion to appreciate God for lifting many notable personalities from their alma mater.

Various speakers at the occasion acknowledged Honourable Yakubu’s efforts in supporting the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to consolidate on the gains of the immediate past administration.

While responding, the visibly elated Auditor-General for Local Government commended the leadership of Forum of Kogi West Comrades for the honour bestowed on him, urging them to be more supportive to the government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and that of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He reassured the people of Kogi West Senatorial District and the entire state of Governor Ododo’s readiness to prioritise their welfare and security above other projects in the state.

Consequently, the Forum presented awards and gifts to the Auditor-General for Local Government as their token of appreciation for being selfless in service to humanity.

The programme was attended by eminent personalities, including Hon. Kabir Ajanah, Hon. Mohammed Ali, Hon. Ismail Isah, Hon. Abdulbasit, LGA chairmen from the entire Kogi West, and the Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government Area, Hon. Abdulrasheed Okatengwu.

Also in attendance were members of Forum of Kogi State Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Local Government Special Assistants (LSAs), and Ward Special Assistants (WSAs).
