The former Chief of Protocol to Rt. Hon. Kolawole Matthew, Tony Oloniruha has eulogized the appointment of Barrister Zaccheaus Dare Michael as Caretaker Chairman, Kabba-Bunu LGA.
The APC stalwart said, “in terms of experience, expertise, patriotism, intellectual sagacity, party loyalty supremacy & superlative performance, your appointment to say the least, is placing a square peg in a square hole.”
He continued by saying: ” I have known you to be a very practical, proactive, pragmatic and highly resourceful young chap whose penchant for excellence in your endeavours can’t be compromised.” “It is, therefore, explainable, why you are destined for the summit. I wish you well in the journey ahead.”
His message read in part:
As the political battle to install a brand new governor into Lugard House climaxes, your support for the emergence of the then APC candidate and now governor elect, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman was total, unwavering and undauntingly overwhelming.
No wonder, today, you are being rewarded for your steadfastness & never- say- die spirit by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, executive Governor of Kogi State as Caretaker Chairman, Kabba-Bunu LGA. Once again, congratulations!
As you start piloting the affairs of our dear local government, I pray for you for the required wisdom, uncommon guidance, unprecedented support, visionary and inspirational leadership to take the LG from where it is to where it ought to be in terms of unseen infrastructural development and workers welfarism.
Going down memory lane, one of the basic reason for the establishment of local government in Nigeria is to bring governance closer to the grassroot people.
I have no iota of pessimism that you’re a grassroot Politician and mobilizer who knows where the shoe pinches your people. In no distant time, I’m positive you will set the ball rolling for the betterment of humanity and the accomodating people of Kabba-Bunu LGA.
