Àlhaji Ayuba Nana, the former Administrator of Ankpa Local Government Area and Special Adviser to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has joined well-meaning citizens of Kogi State to warmly congratulate him on the occasion of his two years in office as Governor of Kogi State.
In a goodwill message released today, the former Ankpa LG boss described Governor Ododo’s two years in office as “a period marked by stability, purposeful leadership, and people-centred governance,” noting that the governor has remained steadfast in his commitment to the development of Kogi State across all sectors.
“Your Excellency, on behalf of myself and the good people of Ankpa Local Government Area, I congratulate you on this remarkable milestone. Two years in office is not just about time spent, but about impact made—and your administration has made visible, measurable impact across Kogi State,” he stated.
He commended Governor Ododo for consolidating on the legacy of his predecessor while also charting a bold and innovative course for the state. According to him, the Ododo administration has demonstrated uncommon courage in tackling infrastructural deficits, improving security, promoting youth and women inclusion, and strengthening grassroots governance.
The former administrator particularly praised the governor’s attention to local government administration, saying it has restored confidence and relevance to the third tier of government. “Your Excellency’s belief in the capacity of local governments to drive development is evident in the way you engage, empower, and support them. This has renewed hope in our communities and brought government closer to the people,” he said.
He also applauded Governor Ododo’s leadership style, describing it as humble, accessible, and consultative. “You have shown that leadership is about service, not status. Your open-door policy, willingness to listen, and readiness to take bold decisions in the interest of the people distinguish you as a true servant-leader,” he added.
On security, the former adviser noted that the governor’s proactive approach and collaboration with security agencies and local stakeholders have improved safety across many parts of the state. “Peace is the foundation of development, and your administration has made significant efforts to ensure that our people can go about their daily activities without fear,” he said.
He further highlighted the administration’s strides in education, healthcare, civil service reforms, and economic empowerment, noting that these initiatives are laying a solid foundation for a more prosperous and inclusive Kogi State.
“As someone who has served both at the local government level and as a Special Adviser in your administration, I can attest to your sincerity of purpose and your unwavering commitment to the progress of our state. You lead with vision, discipline, and compassion,” he affirmed.
The former Ankpa LG Administrator and Special Adviser concluded by praying for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and strength for Governor Ododo as he steers the affairs of Kogi State.
