United Kingdom based Engr Folorunsho Olafemi has donated cash an building materials to resident of Mopa in Kogi state who were rendered homeless by rain storm.
Olafemi made the donation over the weekend at Mopa.
He sympathized with the victims and assured them of his continued support.
His message was delivered to the over 50 affected residents by his father, a former acting Governor of Kogi state, Asiwaju Clarence Olafemi who visited the area to sympathize with the victims.
He lamented that residents were thrown into confused state as they were seen packing out of their apartments that was flooded. He called on the relevant authorities to come to their aid.
Mr Folorunsho Olafemi, through his father, informed the victims that his gesture was carried out to keep to his father’s promises.
He added that women and youths empowerment has been his major focus and promised to continue playing his father’s role so as to enhance the standard of living of the good people of Mopa.
Rt Hon Clarence Olafemi charged them to be supportive and prayerful in all his political activities.
