Basic Education Staff Association of Nigeria (BESAN), Kogi State chapter, has congratulate the executive governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Comrade Salifu Joel Oyibo, on their first anniversary in office.
In a statement signed by the state secretary, Comrade Akinalbi Tope Adebayo, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja after a meeting to mark another year of service, the association acknowledged the governor’s hard work in transforming the state, majorly in the education sector.
BESAN expressed gratitude to Governor Ododo for the the prompt payment of their monthly salaries and other good packages which the administration has put in place to improve the welfare of primary school teachers in Kogi state.
The association beseeched the governor to address the payment of one month salary arrears which is still hanging and equally appealed for the implementation of the promotions.
They begged the governor to positively consider in the payment of leave bonus as well as organize symposium which will improve the teaching skills of the teachers.
BESAN prayed that God Almighty will continue to work with the Governor and his team to add more beauty to Kogi state.
