FG Tasks Kogi Govt on Projects Completion

The federal government has urged the Kogi State government to ensure that all project under construction are completed.

The Minister of Information Labaran Maku stated this yesterday when the Good Governance team inspected some projects under construction in the state.

The minister, who was represented by a Special Assistant on Media, Kingsley Osadolor, said there is growing intervention of both the state and federal government in the area of projects execution.

He said most of the projects, especially Jamata port, stadium, diagnostic centre, skill acquisition centre have direct bearing on the people.

Also speaking, Kogi State governor Idris Wada said all the projects under construction would be completed.

The governor, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) said the Mount Patty six kilometres road under construction is about 52 per cent complete and that it cost the state N2.6 billion.

He said no stone would be left unturned in developing the state.
