I grew up to discover that Africa, my continent, is divinely created as dominant figure, but she deliberately assumed the seat of a dominated figure. How?
There are couple of achievements, improvements, actions and decisions that fellow Africans have made as regard their white counterparts and their continents, I had expected a replication of these gestures from the white to no avail. Instead, we are treated as toddler who holds the money he knows no value of.
When fellow African makes money, he galvanises around the white man’s continents where he spends it.
When he falls sick, he goes to the best hospitals in the white’s land where he gets a topnorch medical attention.
When there is hostility, chaos and unrest, the white man’s country is often considered a save haven.
When he becomes so wealthy, his opulence is flaunted in choice properties he buy in the white man’s land.
Africans deliberately made the white’s foolishness, undoings, incompetence, attitudes and challenges a point of attraction.
Their religion was considered the best without peruse. They brought cash, Africans sheathed trade-by-barter. They brought Bible, Africans threw aside the sacred communion with their ancestors using Kola nut, gin or water. Daily as African lives, socialisation, norms or value is improved upon based on the white man’s standard.
Ethnicity practice, cohabitation, value system, economic plans, budgets and political emancipation of an African is at the whims and caprices of the white man’s preconception.
African does not reason on his own, he does nothing on his own. In short, he thinks not of himself but the white. This is seen when the whites are in war and Africans send delegation who embarks on all-expenses-paid trip with tax payers money to make peace among the white who are obviously never at peace with themselves.
In spite of these gestures, I have never seen the whites come to Africa to buy houses to live anytime he visits.
The white man never comes to spend money in Africa. Rather, he comes to invest, make use of Africans as labourers and return after amassing wealth. As a matter of fact, while in Africa, he only considers her natural resources, not her produce. This is why Nigeria’s Innosson motor will never get value where China’s chin-chang motor is.
When African go broke, the white man lends him money at exorbitant interest. To even access the money, the white coerce Africans into using her products, adjusting her policies and actions as necessary requisites for loan acquisition.
This is why China now send her prisoners to Nigeria to come and work and complete their prison term.
In the end, you find them constructing our roads and bridges which never lasts. Tell me, what is the safety of Nigerians with the hardened Chinese criminals constructing our roads, buildings and more?
When Africa is in war, political instability, Economic chaos, et alia with her African counterparts, the white does not send peace delegations, instead, they favour the country from which they benefit the most.
This is why France induced Tinubu’s ECOWAS against Burkina Faso, thank God for mercy. Africans would have been killing themselves for an exploitative France who had taken so much from Faso without anything in return.
African leadership is bad. Institutions are weak and corruption is deepened just to keep us constantly in check. This is why politicians operate foreign bank accounts with several billions. The white knows about it, but chose the other way just to keep us divided.
Despite these anomalies, Africans have not learned and they will not learn soon. Is it not foolishness? Just thinking aloud!
